A short meeting was held on the pier to discuss some of the issues raised at last week’s meeting before Friends of Falls of Clyde volunteers went to work on the ship.
Another coat of varnish was applied to the poop deck rail. It’s looking much better than it was.
The stanchions that were scraped and sanded two weeks ago, were primed.
Cleaning and organization of work areas continued.
The level of the ballast water in each of Falls of Clyde’s ten tanks was checked and recorded. This will be done on a weekly basis. The scuppers were also worked on.
