Yesterday was the last Saturday on the ship with our very kind naval architect before he returns to the mainland. It’s been a great experience working with him. His knowledge, practical advice, and cheerfulness will be sorely missed!
Anyway, the morning was spent discussing things, taking measurements, and snapping photos.
It’s a bit of a challenge trying to concentrate on photo documentation when cold rain water is dripping on one’s head from the deck above!
But as the song goes, “Crying’s not for me…’cause I’m never gonna stop the rain by complaining.”
This is true on different levels.
The end of the year is quickly approaching. May the new year be a better one. I will continue to soldier on, despite everything.
(Old Mawrters can learn new tricks after all!)
A big MAHALO to all of my friends who have been patient enough to listen to my tales of woe! You know who you are.
